The RailBoss from Trak-Star is the world's most powerful and reliable  4-stroke Gas Powered Rail Drill. The drill incorporates a two-speed gearbox for using either the Black or Carbide Twister Bits. The 150 RPM  range is for the Black Twister Bits or the 350 RPM range is for the  Carbide Twister Bits. The drill operates at 5  GPM and 2000 PSI with a 4 HP motor, while weighing just 48 lbs. The RailMaster provides high clamping forces, and is easy to carry and  operate by one person. A simple forward/reverse lever turns the quill  feed arbor on or off. Plus it has place holders for extra Twister Bits.  Clamps are available for drilling crane or girder rail.  Made in USA.

Twister Disposable Rail Bits are the easy to change, long lasting cutter  from Trak-Star. Just insert the cutter and twist. The Twister Bit is  automatically held in place.

    Twister Bits come in two styles:

          • Gold coated for all around rail drilling

          • Black coated for better performance for fully heated rail

Available in 3/4" thru 1-11/16" diameters. These cutters are backwards  compatible. They can be used in older Trak-Star drills with their  flatted areas on the shanks.Twister Arbor Systems are standard on all  new Gas and Hydraulic Rail Drills. Retrofit Kits are also available for  older Trak-Star drills.  Made in USA.
