Draftsman

Superior Sales & Service, Inc., a worldwide manufacturer of railroad equipment has an opening for a Draftsman.

• Technical School or College graduate with 5 years of directly related experience. 
• Must be proficient with Solidworks
• Job duties will be to draft production documents from conceptual designs to final products 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed documents for mechanical equipment and controls
• Provide details on component descriptions
• Draft technical details
• Draw in minute details of structures
• Use Solidworks CAD system to prepare drawings
• Create and store drawings electronically
• Prepare variations of design

The ideal candidate must have:

• Strong sense of urgency 
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills with a diverse population 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with hard stop deadlines
• Ability to be a self-motivator and leader
